FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Is Safe a home care agency?+

No. Safe is a marketplace that matches families and facilities with independent, verified caregivers and clinicians. We are not a medical provider, and providers are not our employees — each is an independent professional who sets their own rate and schedule.

How are providers verified?+

Every provider clears three checks before their profile goes live: identity (government-issued ID matched to a live photo), active licensing (verified against the relevant state board), and a criminal background check. See our Trust & Safety page for the full breakdown.

What happens to my payment?+

Payment is held securely in escrow when you book, and released to the provider as care is delivered. A small platform fee is deducted automatically — nothing is billed separately.

What areas does Safe serve?+

Safe operates nationwide — families and facilities in all 50 states can post a request or browse verified providers today. New caregivers, nurses, and clinicians join every week.

Can I request the same provider again?+

Yes — every provider profile has a "Request" link, and past bookings make it easy to rebook someone your family already trusts.
