We are not a medical provider and not a staffing agency: every provider you meet on Safe works for themselves, and every one has passed the same verification before their profile goes live.

What Safe is

How we verify every provider

Three doors, before anyone gets your address.

Identity

Government-issued ID confirmed against a live photo. Re-checked periodically for active providers.

Licensing

Active clinical licenses (RN, LPN, PT, CNA, HHA, and others) verified directly against the relevant state licensing board.

Background

A criminal background check runs before a provider’s profile goes live. Drug screening is available for facility-connected work.

Safety at the point of care

Nobody arrives blind — in either direction.

Before a provider ever steps into a home, families flag anything they should know — pets, stairs or no elevator, smoking in the household, allergies, or a security code needed to get in. Providers see those flags before they accept a case, and can decline without penalty if something isn't a fit.

Active nursing, therapy, or clinical licenses are confirmed directly against the relevant state licensing board.

CPR Certified

Current CPR certification on file, verified against the issuing organization.

Dementia Care Trained

Completed specialized training in dementia-safe communication, routines, and de-escalation.

Alzheimer's Experience

Documented hands-on experience caring for clients living with Alzheimer’s disease.

Pediatric Experience

Verified experience providing care to infants, children, or newborns.

Post-Surgical Care

Experience with post-operative recovery, wound care, and mobility support after surgery.

BLS/ACLS

Basic or Advanced Life Support certification current and verified.

Vaccination Verified

Up-to-date immunization record on file, including flu and COVID-19 as applicable.

Drug Screen Completed

Passed a pre-placement drug screening, required for facility-connected and pediatric cases.

Safe Approved

Completed every layer of verification Safe offers and maintained a strong track record with families.
